The story
Pianobook has been an awesome community and I’m glad I discovered it. As a Thank You to everyone who made and shared different instruments, I have decided to share my entire collection of sampled instruments for a new project of mine to the Pianobook community.
I like to write books in my free time and decided to write AND score a Science-Fiction book called The Future. When I was assembling my palette, I needed a blend of orchestral instruments and synthesizers in order to match the world in my book. One of these sounds is Synthello, combining a Cello and a synthesizer. I used a synthesizer to emulate a cello, but instead of using strings to resonate, it would use wavetables. I hope you enjoy this one.

Very Full Retro Synth
This is a really warm retro sounding synth that could be used for many things including sci fi, scoring and electronic music. Im not a fan of synth sounds that try to sound like organic instruments but this one doesn't actually sound like strings so i like it. It just sounds like a really nice synth. Theres a few different patches and articulations that give you a decent amount of control over the instrument. I do agree with others above that you have to hit the keys too hard and it makes this less playable. but all in all this is a really nice instrument for your first attempt at sampling.
Limited playability...
There's a ton of different instrument patches which really should have been combined into one or two using keyswitches, so it's difficult to navigate all the possibilities of which there are many. It's about what you'd expect from a synth and cello sound, warm and sine-wave like tones with slow attack and release.
Nice retro-synth sound with a velocity issue
This is nice synth that kind of reminds you of a cello. The sound produced is nice and noisless, and there are 8 patches in total, 4 articulations and one pad alternative for each articulation. It is a nice instrument overall, but I feel that the playability is very limited due to low velocities being extremely quiet. I'm sure it would be ok if you were to program it.
