Jazzy Horror

A processed jazz guitar, great for horror soundscapes, suspense, crime and drama...

The story

I recently recorded my Jazz Guitar and wanted to go creative about making a Kontakt instrument out of it. I recorded it with some crowd noises outside just to get that sort of a natural feeling. Later I went into my Daw and sat on hours experimenting with the samples and what came out, as a result, is what I am not able to believe as made by me. Big otherwordly pads!!. Use it for horrory soundscapes or suspense, crime or drama and it will provide you what you look out for instantly.

  • Interesting and wild sound

Very wild and scary sound - can be used for a horror film. But I hear a lot of noise - or maybe a part of this texture. Without this kind of noise this library would be a lot nicer!

  • Really Interesting sound but many clicks

This sound is very suspenseful, otherworldly and weird. On one hand i think given the right context it would work really well but its very limited in its playability. Its extremely random and unpredictable which can be perfect for some instances but really annoying for others. Theres also annoying clicking happening alot in the samples, I have izotope declick which usually does a great job of taking care of clicks without messing up the sound but for someone who doesn't have this plugin this can be a deal breaker.

  • Interesting soundscape

This is an interesting soundscape, but probably not something you will use more than once as the sound is rather distinctive. There is a rather pronounced click in some of the lowest samples as though there was a bad edit in there that rather severely limits the usability of this sample. it's an interesting experiment, nonetheless.
