Dusty Old Autoharp
Autoharp from the 1800's sampled in many varieties.

The story
I’ve used this old Autoharp from the late 1800’s on countless recordings though I never got around to sampling it. I plucked , E-bowed, reversed and used an actual bow. It is super raw and has lots of strange sonic artifacts that I love. “Autoharp With Ensemble Pad” is a multi featuring everything!
Pianobook has motivated me to capture some of my more eclectic instruments I have lying around. I may be re-locating back to L.A. for a stretch, and won’t be able to take all these old gems with me. Well, I kind of can!

Beautifully captured nostalgic sound of harp
Another nostalgic sound. It also has organic vibes accompanying to the harp, very beautiful.
I never knew how much I needed this.
This is fantastic. First of all the harp is fantastic, evocative, mysterious, dark and crystalline all at the same time. Then Joshua does his favourite thing of getting bows and ebows involved. The pads are excellent and the combination of both works equally well. For this type of sound this will be my go to.
Beautiful Medieval sound
I dont know if this instrument was around during medieval times but it really gives me that vibe for some reason. Its fairly dynamic which is always appreciated. Joshua has given us a wide variety of interesting instruments, its honestly amazing. I dont really know anything about this instrument but its really fun and playable, thats another great thing about pianobook. Ive learned about so many instruments i never knew about
