Meditate Piano
Flowing water-like sound mix with piano

The story
This is my first contribution to the Pianobook community, I have been using pianobook from the initial days and am very thankful for its entire existence.
This is a Kontakt instrument of my workstation synthesizer called Roland XPS30. I recently sold this away, but just before letting it go, I had an idea to sample the patch which always used on it called Meditate Piano. The patch actually has 2 layers one is of a standard piano found in any workstation and the tail of flowing water-like sound. I recorded it using my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 in stereo with 3 velocity layers.

Full of promise
I like this one. Lots of sounds to play with. I have paid for piano libraries that are not as interesting as this one. It is a great inspirational tool, but it may not make it through to the final mix. I normally like to keep my piano sounds pure and clean.
A fantastic take on an ambient cinematic piano
This piano by default will give you the feels. It's a very nice executed idea of a piano with various signals going below it, such as delay, reverb and a lovely reverse effect, which is the only one you are not able to control. The sampling is very nice, and the sound signature is awesome by default. I recommend to everyone seeking for some inspiration about something melancholic or just straght touching. This is not mean to act as your typical piano, but since it has such a nice character, it would be awesome if you could just turn off all the effects to make it act like one.
nice
A great sound and a wonderful starting block for exploration. Whip into the editor, change the filter to Pro53, Replika to diffusion and increase the attack and release. Sublime.
